As a church family we are very colorful. Especially in this time of change at C3 Rivers you see how special God works through everyone and how differently we express our faith, within the same family.
We are very curious about what God says to you in prayer, when it comes to your need and contribution in the church. So please fill out the form below so that we can take this into account in shaping the near future of C3 Rivers.
Because everyone is unique, and God works differently in each person. (1 Corinthians 12) And together we follow Jesus, who builds his church.
Questionnaire.
Some things in church life can only happen if there is central organization and direction, we call this: central. Consider, for example, church services in the building or large events involving several teams, such as a large Alpha course, a conference or a joint Christmas gift campaign.
You organize other things yourself or with a group, without the need for central management, we call this: decentralized. Consider, for example, a self-initiated evangelistic campaign, praying for someone, having a home group or organizing an Alpha course in your home. Fill in what applies to you, and also indicate how often it applies.
What are we going to do with this?
In the past two years we have received prophetic words(1), then we have talked about this together and studied it with the Bible(2). And in the past few months we have stopped and turned all our attention and prayers(3) to God. “What do you want with C3 Rivers?”
As a leadership team(4) we have weekly discussions with each other, with church family and with friends and advisers outside the congregation(5). We include all these elements in our conversations in order to shape the new way of being a church.
So we don’t form the church on one word, just the questionnaires, or a select group of people or opinions. But in wisdom we consider all five elements.
When it comes to the questionnaires, we will mainly look at what overlap there is in the lists submitted. This will give us a clear picture of what we can and want to organize centrally in the near future, and what we want to do decentrally. You can fill in this list online here, then it will be sent to our office team who will ensure that it is clearly mapped out so that it can be read and shared. A tip is to also discuss this with your group in order to come up with ideas and insights.
